Meet the people behind Isle of Arran Parish Church.
Isle of Arran Parish Church is made up of people from across the island working together to support community life, offer care, and create spaces where everyone is welcome. Our team includes a Lead Minister, a Church and Community Worker and volunteers who each play a part in serving the island through church life, community activities and pastoral care.
We are not based in one place. Instead, we work across Arran, connecting with people in Brodick, Lochranza, Shiskine, Whiting Bay and Kilmory. Each area has its own local community, and together they form one shared island church.
Who You Will Meet.
Our Minister and leadership team help guide worship, support community work and offer care and support when people need it most. Alongside them, a wide network of volunteers helps make everything possible, from Sunday gatherings to events, activities and seasonal services.
You will also meet people who help in many different ways across the island. Some lead services, some help with music, some organise events, some visit people at home, and others help behind the scenes. Every role matters and contributes to the life of the church and the wider community.
Life Across the Island.
Much of what we do happens in everyday spaces across Arran. We gather for Sunday services, host events through the year, and support people through important moments such as weddings, baptisms and funerals. We also work alongside local groups and individuals to support community life in practical and meaningful ways.
Whether you are new to the island, visiting, or have lived here for years, our team is here to help you connect, find support, and feel part of the community.
